Rotary Club of Burlington North and Joseph Brant Hospital Foundation need volunteers to help with various roles for The Amazing Bed Race on September 17th 2017. See our available positions to the left and sign up below.
How Can You Help? We can accommodate groups or individuals. The following roles need to be filled:
Road Closure Marshals: a mature person who can man a stewarding point and keep the spectators safely out of the path of the beds during the parade and race
Road Volunteers: physically able to help move safety barriers, set up road pin and tape barriers, etc.
Pit Crew Volunteers: help organize the decorated beds and their team members and prepare them for the start of the parade
Start Line Volunteers: orchestrate beds in the correct order and prepare teams for the start of the race, ensure teams and individuals are complying to rules and regulations
Finish Line Crew: help with general organization, directing finished teams to designated areas and operating the racetrack exit gate and the race area
Field Clear-Up (Lots): physically able to help remove security barriers and tape barriers, litter-pick up
